Create a photo book with National Geographic Traveler Magazine Contributing Editor Justin Guariglia and award-winning graphic designer, Giorgio Baravalle. Participants will be introduced to the basics of design and layout for photos, using images from book the book Planet Shanghai. Through in-class exercises and discussions, participants will create a booklet by the end of the workshop.

Scope.
The intention of the workshop is to stimulate dynamic creativity. Participant’s will focus on projects with the goal of exploring and understanding the entire design process. This will be accomplished in part thru challenging discussion and critiques, in which full participation will be encouraged. Because right or wrong do not exist in a de.MO workshop, everyone will be pushed to challenge their own creative process.
